A COLOURFUL procession filled the streets of Coventry as the Godiva Carnival marched and danced its way through the city on Saturday.
Up to 1,500 people took part in the carnival while hundreds of spectators lined the streets or gathered in the War Memorial Park to welcome the procession.

We can all do our bit to help the community be a better place - tired of the eyesore beside the footpath known as Jacquard Close we ask Whitefriars Housing to help, as the wedge of land was behind their garages in Charminster drive.
To cut a long story short they quickly came to see it and agreed to clear all the rubbish and overgrown shrubs and put it on a regular litter collection rota.

These are some slides I took in Purefoy Rd Cheylesmore on Saturday 8th December 1990 when Coventry experienced a heavy snowfall. I woke up about 08:30 and it snowed until after lunch time.
