Police out to catch Blyth speeders

Police caught 31 motorists on camera driving while on their mobile phones on Tuesday.

These were among 207 offences recorded on the second day of a week-long operation.

There were 154 speeders and 22 other incidents. Officers today will be in Plessey Road, Blyth, and Beresford Road, Seaton Sluice, and tomorrow in Haddricks Mill Road, South Gosforth, and West Road in Newcastle.
