Car crash mayhem in Blyth
Two car crashes in quick succession on a Blyth road yesterday disrupted morning rush hour traffic.
Police and fire crews were called to a crash involving a Fiat Ducato van and a car on the A189 near the Three Horseshoes roundabout.
Around 10 minutes later, there was another smash, a quarter of a mile south on the same road.
Four people suffered minor injuries and the road was blocked.
