Police appeal over Blyth thefts
Police in Blyth are appealing for information on two separate thefts of industrial equipment.
At the weekend, thieves broke into a building site on Sandringham Way and stole a JCB digger valued at tens of thousands of pounds. Police believe the thieves probably drove it away.
And between 5pm last night and 7am today thieves broke into a compound on Bridge Street and stole seven Stihl saws.
Anyone who has information about either of these thefts is asked to contact Blyth CID on 03456 043 043 ext 61945.
