Blyth Town in Challenge Cup win
In the Bosch Power Tools Challenge Cup, Blyth Town avenged an earlier league defeat by Heaton Stannington and emerged as 4-3 victors in their cup-tie at Grounsell Park.
Kevin Carr (2) and Chris Hutchinson were on the mark for Heaton but strikes by Blyth's Patrick Allen, Aaron Hicken and Jeff Fuller restored parity. Fuller's second goal to settle the issue came in the dying seconds.
